Havant MP visits the Museum
The current MP for Havant, Alan Mak, came with his assistant, Alex, on 9th November for a special tour of the Museum. The MP had expressed an interest in seeing round the Museum, so he was taken on a personal tour with his assistant and given information about the WWI illustrated displays describing local families’ connections with the War. Stewards: Jane Kidd, Tony Stimpson, Maureen Barrett, Rosalie Wickhart and Donald Wells were present to answer any queries. After spending three quarters of an hour looking at displays about life in World War One, locally and nationally, Alan Mak MP said he was very impressed by the exhibition and thanked everyone who had been present for his tour.
