This illustrated talk by popular speaker Dr Bob France will be at  7.30pm at the Mountford Rooms, Emsworth Community Centre, North Street, Emsworth. PO10 7DD.

Restoration period adventure, scandal, politics, intrigue and rebellion. The story Ford Grey, Uppark’s most notorious owner. His domestic scandal comes straight out of a restoration comedy. Earl OT3 1His politics and religion bring endless intrigue and confrontation. He narrowly escapes the executioners axe no less than three times. Remarkably, however, he ends his days in exceptionally high office and builds his new house at Uppark.
