The Annual Treasure Hunt is alive!

June 18 @ 6:30 PM 8:30 PM

This year the walking treasure trail will occur on Wednesday evening, 18 June. It is planned to start about 6.30-7.00pm in the Friends Garden, 50 meters south of the museum where it will finish, weather permitting.

The more adventurous route will be through the recreation ground, along Belle Vue Road and northeast to Westbourne. The return will follow the river from Westbourne, past the alpaca field, over the A27 bridge, passing Lumley Mill and along Lumley Lane, through Brook Meadow and back to the Museum.

Please note that Lumley Lane can be very muddy and has puddles so walking boots (or wellies?) are advised and probably essential.

Teams of adults, families and youth groups are all welcome.  Adults are asked to donate £5 each, Children £1 (voluntarily).

There will be prizes and the winners will NOT be asked to compile next year’s route and questions (unless they wish to do so).

It takes a lot of work to organise the route and questions so please support this community event.
