In 2006, the Emsworth Oyster Boat “Terror” was restored. Dating from the 1880’s, the Terror was one of the last boats remaining from the Emsworth Oyster Fleet following the collapse of the oyster industry in Emsworth. It was recovered from the harbour and kept in a greenhouse in Woodmancote for some years. Read more about the Terror here. You can sail on the Terror.
