Emsworth Museum is now closed for the winter but local painter & decorator Jean Pierre
Roberts and his team have been re-decorating part of the Main Room as well as the hall, stairs
and reception area ready to welcome visitors back on Good Friday 2024.
Exhibitions
Many of the David Rudkin Room exhibitions for next year have already been agreed: with the first one illustrating the history and nature of Brook Meadow.
Later in the year the 100th anniversary of the merger of the parishes of Warblington and Emsworth will be celebrated followed by a commemoration of the 80th anniversary of D-Day and an exhibition about the museum’s near neighbours the Emsworth Fire Brigade.
I’m sure you agree this is an interesting selection of displays on a variety of topics.
Talks
Tickets can still be purchased for the February. March. April and May talks being held in the Mountford Rooms. Emsworth Community Centre. North Street. P010 7DD starting at 7.30pm.
