Laundry tongs

Wooden tongs used to extract or mix washing from a hot wash. A crudely made object with two pieces of wood linked with an aluminium strip that is nailed to the wood, two nails each side. One of the nails is not matching and has been poorly chosen since it is too long, has penetrated the wood and caused damage to opposite piece of wood. One side is loosely attached. Wooden pieces 30 cm long. Aluminium strip 15 cm wide and about 27 cm in length.
