Description
Originally a framed image, one of four from Saxted House depicting sailing ships, the life of Alfred the Great, and of a Church/Font. 18th century. In this image a Royal Naval vessel is engaging a vessel of the French Fleet. These were discovered in 1985 whilst renovations were carried out. See also separate Note. Dimensions 36 cm x 39 cm
