Stirrup pump.
Description
Upright, with a brass single cylinder 510mm in height. At the top is a wooden cross handle and at the base a rubber tube at the end of which is a metal fitting for attachment to a bicycle tube valve. Also at the cylinder base are two foldable metal fittings one either side designed to steady the unit with both feet whilst in the act of pumping. 'Shelley' stamped twice on each of the foot fittings. Said to have been for MG, Austin, Morris, Riley or Jaguar cars.
