Late Victorian (c.1890) Bath Thermometer, from Sussex Brewery, Emsworth, removed when pub changed hands in 1975, Made in Germany, fruit wood, Fahrenheit scale ranging from 50oF-212oF, next to scale figures handwritten in red ink are 'scalding'. 'Fever heat' ''bloodheat' 'Temperate' 'freezing' 'zero', string through top. Mercury filled, 3cm x 34cm. Good condition.
