Court Rolls from various local manors 1686-1734

These manorial or court rolls recorded the activities of the manorial court containing entries relating to the rents and holdings, deaths, alienations, and successions of the customary tenants and copyholders. In the mediaeval period these were kept in roll form but in the post-mediaeval were more usually entered into volumes. This volume features the following as duplicates:

Warblington Manor Court Rolls 1686-1734
Bedhampton Manor Court Rolls 1686-1719
Milton with Eastney Manor Court Rolls 1688-1690.
Much of the written hand is in Latin
The book is 38 cm x 26.5 cm and covered in red-dyed leather which has deteriorated in some places and disappeared in others.
